The queen bee lives up to 5 years and lays 2,000 eggs a day!

The queen is the centre of the colony. From the moment she is born, her life is dedicated to reproduction.

She is fed exclusively on royal jelly, a superfood that enables her to live much longer than the workers. During her lifetime, she can lay millions of eggs, ensuring the renewal of the hive population.

The workers take care of the queen continuously, providing her with food and protection. If the queen begins to age or reduce her production, the colony will breed a new queen to replace her.
